Suddenly the monitor used via the dock HDMI has stopped displaying. After taking the following diagnostic steps I believe the problem is somewhere in the Surface Pro 3 software config because I think I have eliminated everything else. Chris I'm having this same issue. I have two UH monitors I'm trying to hook up to the Surface dock via displayport daisy chained.

Similarly, I can hook them up directly to the surface and it works in the daisy chained configuration. I've updated dock firmware and am using high quality mDP to DP cable. How do I check the firmware of the monitors? Would updating it help?

And if so, how do I go about doing that? The fact that they work in daisy chained configuration without the dock means that the monitors are functioning correctly. The fault has to be the dock or how the dock is communicating to the Surface. We do not have any mechanism in place to allow customers to update the firmware on this monitor.

The revision is on the rear label. Do you know if the updated firmware will fix this issue? And is it possible to send them in to have you do it?
